[ How RAIN UNITED Was Formed ]
It was back in October 2005 when this group of friends, made up of boys age between 13-18, gathered for a discussion. They wanted to form a FOOTBALL team - a PROPER football team. I was asked to be their coach.
It was a thunderous evening with heavy shower, but their attendance and spirits in wanting to get together were overwhelming and encouraging ! I wasn't so sure about these boys but felt they wanted this healthy lifestyle. Hence I decided to give it a go.
We shared our views and I was glad that the boys were enthusiastic about doing well for themselves. We decided to kick-off with a team name.
"RAIN UNITED FOOTBALL CLUB" was formed.
