UNITED
Some of the friends took time to meet up and we discussed on the possibilities of participating in the AFL (Amatuer Football League). The League will commenced in late April.
We listed down some of the impediments and decided to hear more voices. We had both good and the not so good. I digested some of the comments made. We had good response from majority and concluded that we will continue with our team progress.
However, we have also made the decision not to accept all the players who may have expressed interest in joining us. They can continue to train and proof they are part of the team. We need unity and will mitigate risks. Otherwise, I will encourage them to play their football somewhere else.
Some of the not so positive issues are as follows :
1. Not responding to team rules / communication discipline or instigated communications which
is deem offensive or harmful to the team that may create social unrest
2. Not willing to contribute as a whole and is seem taking advantage of team welfare
3. Lack ethics and humanitary protocol
To maintain and substantiate our football interest, we will maintain to give priortities to our existing players with committed interest to the team and has invited some other new players to the team.
We will also announced our team of new committees who will assist to keep us going.
Thank you
Sabastian
General Update : We have recruited 10 new players to come onboard RAIN UNITED to replace some of the players in the current team whom we have identified who do not believe in the team or with various selfish reasons, which are expected to be dropped.
26th March 2007 : One player has been asked to leave the team and has been de-registered from the league for walking off the pitch during our match yesterday. The player was also found to be critising the team and had made unnecessary unethical remarks. Likewise, we have also decided to reinstate another player who has shown perseverence and is willing to improve on his weaknesses after spoken to him. The player has been given the ultimation to prove his worth to the team and his teammates.
28th March 2007 : Please be informed that our first league game will commence on 15th April 2007. Razzali and Anand took time off from their work and gathered to discuss some of the comformalties and we shall take the opportunity to brief all the players involve for the league this Saturday. For more details on the AFL league and the fixtures, all RAIN UNITED players are encourage to visit www.afl.com.sg in the near future. We will be posting our own team web when it is up.
