CCK Sports Constituency / RAIN United Kids Soccer
I would like to thank the parents and the boys for their continual effort in supporting their kids soccer programme, and in rewarding the good effort that they have put in, we have aligned the following in the forthcoming as follows :-
June 2007
The CCK Sports Contituency supported the Presidents Cup Challenged in funding 2 teams put up by the parents from the CCK Sports Constituency / RAIN United Kids soccer programme held at the National Stadium.
August 2007
The CCK Sports Constituency is planning a schedule for the boys in their respective age group to pit their skills in a 5 aside futsal tournament to be held at the Choa Chu Kang Community Center. The dates will be announced.
September 2007
To be held on the 1st of September at our very owned training ground, I am pleased to have invited the parents and their children from the Belgium community for a fun filled evening of "Soccer for All". There will be 2 matches held on this day.
The first game will involve the kids age ranging from age 6-12 years playing a match against our owned CCK Sports Constituency / RAIN United boys. The game will be played over 4 quarters of 15 minutes each quarter. Both teams have agree to field our own "Galacticos" in presenting their moms / girls to play in the game. The fathers from the 2 teams will officiate the game as referees. Fathers, no "Kelong" please.
The second game will involved the visiting fathers who will pit their game against RAIN United. This will be the returned match where we lost 4-0 when we last met. A referee will be called in to officiate this match.
We will take this cross culture football opportunity to promote the goodwill in this beautiful game between the 2 teams. While I am expecting our European friends to come in their troops to support their football on this day, so let's come on down and join in for this fun filled event.
October 2007
While discussions and planning is still underway, CCK Sports Constituency / RAIN United looks into the possibilities to organise the "CCK Sports Constituency / RAIN United Little League" 11 aside tournament.
The league will involved between 8 - 10 participating teams where they will pit their skills against one another to be played over Saturdays and Sundays. A total of 3 games will be played over each weekend on a home and away fixture basis. The team standings will be determine after each game and the champions trophy and medals will be presented to the top 3 teams.
The league format will involved players who must be 10 years old and below with a maximum of 3 "overaged" below the age of 12 who can be fielded in any one game. Tournament rules and football proper will apply. We will also sort out to encourage the parents (either the mothers or the fathers) to rotate in officiating as match referees throughout the entire duration of this tournament.
We hope to inculcate the parents / kids bonding football to play and understand the beautiful game through building a even better community for all.
