The program, endorsed by the Chua Chu Kang Community Club and supported by Mr Gan Kim Yong, the Minister of State for Education and Manpower, Minister of Parliament for Chua Chu Kang Constituency and Advisor to Chua Chu Kang.
With participating teams from the expatriates communities, together with our own parents volunteers, who have come together over Saturday weeks to join us in our structured football training designed for the the boys aged from 6 - 12 years of age, we are looking forward to this fun-filled event to encourage the boys to continue with their good educational progress, understanding football proper and in maintaining their well-being and social development.
The teams will play a round robin involving 4 teams with the top 2 advancing to the finals with the 3rd and 4th placing playoff. The champion team will be awarded the Champions Trophy, with the runner-up and all participating teams a trophy and 20 medals each.
4 marshals will be assigned to assist the respective teams in the entire tournament. Each participating team will present with a match official to refeeree assigned matches. We will also video record the team matches and at the end of the tournament, we will be presenting it to the participating team managers as gift of goodwill and memorandum.
On behalf of the tournament organisers and to all those who have put in effort in assisting in making this tournament a good start, let us look forward to many more joy, laughter and there will be only 1 winner at the end of the tournament - THE BOYS, AND NOT FORGETTING THE GIRLS, ALL AS ONE.
Kind regards
Sabastian
